Spinning the Web by Illustrator Prescott Hill www.hillustrate.com

A few days ago, I woke to found a spider web covering twelve to fifteen feet across my storage room and garage. It literally appeared overnight, spun as the  type of web you see all matted together at Halloween. And because I pay attention to sign from animals, I began listening to the messages from spider.

I was talking with my life-partner Prescott tonight about the expansiveness and interconnection of the web being created with each thread I place on the internet. I can tangibly feel it.  And every time I touch one aspect of the web it impacts another component.

My life is getting more and more like that too. The other day I needed to call a lady on behalf of the Sacred Dance Guild, she ended up being someone who has been training priestesses for the last 12 years. We had a great conversation about priestesses exploring the sacred act of dancing as a way to honor the Divine.

Web building either by an actual spider, our connections to another, or the building of websites, brings together an interesting merger of elements. The combination of “Air” and “Earth”. The web itself hangs suspended in the invisible realm of Air attached by touch points of threads to seemingly solid objects.

In business, this web type of building forms a very different business model than one that is housed in a more solid structure of brick, wood, and glass. Yet it is energetically tangible and sometimes quite intricately complex. I find I have to think differently than when my business was simply on solid ground.

Fortunately as I have continued to learn about this Air/Earth combination the more my skills transfer to other uses. For instance the more knowledgeable  I become about constructing a simple website the more those tools support me in all the other on-line activities I now have as a business owner. Now here is the tricky part, I learn even “Air” type skills best from someone who can teach me in an earthy, grounded, practical way. That is why I felt so blessed to have found Christina Hills of the Website Creation Workshop last fall when I was struggling so much to figure out what to do with my website.

The people I talked to wanted $100 a page to build a website using a template. The Natural Rhythms site alone is now over 113 pages and this one is 13.  That means in this year alone by doing the Website Creation Workshop I’ve saved well over $11,000. Now having help and not doing it all yourself is definitely important as a business owner but so is knowing what to do. Without taking the time to understand how to build a website I assure you I would still be lost and frustrated as I continued to talk to “web masters” trying to figure it all out.

It takes a little time to learn but knowing how to create your own “webs” today can be extremely helpful to your business. While I am an affiliate of Christina Hills Website Creation workshop I am telling you about only because of how valuable it has been for me. She starts her fall class on Sept 14 and even if you don’t want to do it right now she has so much free content that you can learn from her by accessing her free information.

Now what does this all have to do with the Virgo New Moon?

Interestingly enough, one of the major Goddesses representing the archetype of Virgo is Spider Woman. As the great creator and weaver of all life her sacred mysteries appear in the stories of many cultures. She reminds you to spin your sacred work from your source, your deep connection to the Divine.

As an archetypal energy both Spider Woman and Virgo help you to see the patterns of life and of nature. They teach you to honor the sacred as it flows through the great web of life. They help you to acknowledge one of the powers of Air – intention – as it impacts your earthly physical world.

On a Virgo New Moon you can call on Virgo and/or Spider Woman to help you:

  • Organize your life.
  • Handle details.
  • Perform ceremonies.
  • Connect to the sacred.
  • Increase productivity.
  • Activate your sacred work and life purpose.
  • Be of service.
  • Develop exercise and health programs.
  • Tie up loose ends.
  • Be useful.
  • Connect to the patterns, rhythms, and cycles of nature.
  • Handle your finances.

Learning about Virgo came from my experience of Shamanic Astrology, taught by Cayelin Castell, during the Priestess Process, in which I was blessed to have Nicole Christine facilitate. Becoming a Priestess impacted my work on so many levels. It opened the inner realm for me in ways that non of my previous spiritual work had done.

Like learning to build my own website, it opened doors and pathways internally for which I had no previous access available. It has deepened in me over the years and grown. No matter what I do from this day forth in terms of work it in world I can apply what I know and who I have become because of it.

For the first time ever, after facilitating over 30 in person priest/ess circles, I am offering a more “Air Web” type circle through home study teleseminars so anyone can join in no matter where you live in the world. For some time now I’ve felt the calling to expand the reach to people who didn’t have a facilitator close by or who needed a process during the week.

This is a powerful opportunity for you if you want to strengthen your inner gifts and abilities in ways that you can apply to any aspect of your life. The deadline for the bonuses and best rates ends tomorrow. And the class officially begins tomorrow night at 7pm Eastern time. I would love to have you join me in this sacred circle to Activate Your Priest/ess Within.

Blessings on your Virgo New Moon and please feel free to share your comments, Lisa
